How can I resist creating this for a birthday order?

When I received this order, I sprang to action..creating his eyes, nose and smiley mouth using fondant! It was simply fun to mould his face features!

Coloring the icing is the toughest part as the ELMO red is a challenge. But it turned out really good!

I was asked to create cupcakes with pink ribbons & bows for a birthday girl, Linda!

Instead of having all the same design, I decided to do a variety so that it will look prettier :)

Using fondant, I made the ribbons and bows so that it will have a 3D effect.

Here's how it turned out :

Hollywood rocks!

H O L L Y W O O D H E R E I C O M E !

This is 1 of my favorite creation for a 21st birthday celebration

The theme is Hollywood, with glitters and roses...and yellow is the color of the party...

To make it special, I bought a KEY to mark the independence for the birthday gal.

And created a 'nameplate' for her as well.

Next, I bought glittery cut-outs and paste on cookie sticks...

and printed out images of Hollywood on the glittery boards.

Don't you just LOVE the DRAMA effect!

The generous birthday gal and her mom has specially ordered cupcakes

as a thank-you gift for all the guests!

This took me 3 weeks to prepare with 2 days of baking and decorating

and it's worth every effort I've put in!

Gail's sister, Charlene made a special birthday order for 30 cupcakes on her BIG day! The requirement was simple...."she loves bumble bees and her fav color is sky blue". With that, I sprung into action cos I missed creating the cutesy bumble bees!

They rented the Cupcake Display Stand as well and here's the display...

Love is in the air....

Wedding bells for Si Hui & Li Sheng....

The month of November was the most exciting and busy month for me as I baked 321 cupcakes for my niece's wedding. With 3 designs, over 300 specially-cut fondant covers, 3000 flowers hand-made with love, a week of 3-hours a day sleep, a party of family helpers, here's the gorgeous pictures of the wedding cupcakes!

Here's the Close-Up Shots of the Wedding Cupcakes... 3 colors : Tiffany Blue, Peach and Ivory White. I painted silver shimmery powder to make it more bridal-like :)

All the flowers are hand-made one-by-one and put together with the silver and blue cachousn from Australia...

then a paper-flower was added to the exterior of the cups to make it more 'mcdreamy' and 'princessy'....
